Privacy Policy — Fidelita
Last updated: September 23, 2026
1. Data controller
This policy applies to the mobile app Fidelita. Questions: info@fidelita.app.
2. Data we may process
- Account: email, name, optional phone, country, profile photo, language preference.
- Program: Fidelitos balance, points history, redemptions, challenges, and surveys.
- Physical activity (optional): device step count and, if you authorize it, workout distances read from Apple Health or Health Connect (cycling, running, swimming, and other activities).
- Location (optional): to show nearby stores and suggest your country.
- Referrals: invitation code and relationship with users who registered with your code.
3. Purposes
- Authentication, operation of the loyalty program, and support.
- Credit Fidelitos for challenges, steps, physical activity, and streaks.
- Redeem rewards at partner stores and validate QR codes.
- Transactional communications (OTP, account notices).
- Service improvement, security, and legal compliance.
4. Legal basis
We process data based on service performance, your consent (device permissions, Terms & Conditions), and legitimate interest in security. Fidelitos may expire according to the rules published in the app.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain account details, points history, redemptions, challenges, referrals and related records while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. When you request account deletion, we delete your account and its associated personal data. We may retain specific records only where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud; in those cases, we limit their use to that purpose and delete them when the applicable retention period ends. Backup copies are deleted according to our backup retention schedule. Revoking a device permission stops future access through that permission but does not, by itself, delete data already stored in your account.
You can request deletion from the app (Profile → About → Delete account) or on this page.
6. Device permissions
- Motion / pedometer: count daily steps.
- Health: read activity distances synced by other apps (e.g. Garmin → Apple Health).
- Location: map of nearby stores.
- Camera / photos: profile picture and QR scanning.
You can revoke permissions in system settings; some features will no longer be available. That does not, by itself, delete data already associated with your account: to remove it, request account deletion as described above.
7. Sharing with third parties
We may use infrastructure providers, transactional email, and app stores (Apple / Google) under their own policies. Partner stores receive the minimum information needed to validate a redemption (e.g. code or reward identifier). We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
8. Your rights
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your account from the app, on delete account, or by contacting us. You can also stop using the app and revoke device permissions at any time.
9. Minors
Fidelita is not intended for children under 13 without supervision by a responsible adult.
10. Changes
We will publish the current version at this URL and indicate the update date.
